Lillian Gish was born in 1896 and has worked from 1912 to 1921 for the movies called The Birth Of Nation , Intolerance, Way Down East and other classics, that led to her being one of the best silent movies stars of all time. Lillian was only 6 years old when she first started to go on stage. After 13, she and her sister were appearing on the stage with great success. In 1912, she met famed director D.W. Griffith, and made 12 films for Griffith. With 25 films in the 2 years that followed, Lillian became one of the best silent movie stars in the industry.
