Charlie Chaplin was born in London, England, on April 16th 1889. His father was a versatile vocalist and actor, and his mother was an attractive actress and singer. Charlie Chaplin was British comedian, producer, writer, director, and composer who is widely regarded as the greatest comic artist of the screen and one of the most important figures in motion-picture history. Charlie was a famous for his acting in the “The Tramp”. He first started his career when he was 14 years old. Acting as a paperboy in “Sherlock Holmes” which ran from 1903-6.
